In Club Penguin you can become a Tour Guide. A Tour Guide is a penguin who shows other new penguins around the island. You can help other penguins learn the rooms in Club Penguin.
There are some requiremens your penguin must need if he/she wants to become a Tour Guide:
- Your Penguin must be over 45 days old
- You must read this Ultimate Guide on how to become a Tour Guide
- You must also know how to go Sled Cart Surfing while playing Catching Waves (Nah jokes, that is impossible I am just messing with ya) XD
Follow these easy and simple steps on how to become a Tour Guide:
- Click on your Map and go to the Ski Village.
- Click on the Tour Guide stand
- A Tour Guide Information board will pop up, Click Take Quiz on the bottom of the board

Once you pass the test, you are now a Tour Guide! What do I do now? Here is a book on How to Do Tours and etc:
Well, at the end, you get a Tour Guide hat. If you wear the tour guide hat and nothing but the tour guide hat, you can hold up a sign that says “Tours Here” if you wave (push w on the keyboard. That gets newer penguins attention and then they want a tour. They then will follow you into each room.
If you have the Tour Guide hat on, there is a special chat feature. If you go to the messages in the chat bar, you can find it under activities, and then click “Give a Tour”. When you click that, your penguin will give information about the room that you are in.
Also you will receive conformation that you are a Tour Guide through penguin mail. You will also get 250 coins each month for being one regardless if you do tours or not. You will receive the coins through penguin mail. This also applies to being a Secret Agent too. Here is what your pay check looks like:
